Talking To Ghosts

Monday, January 18th, 2010

J. D. Farrell

In this latest ghost box video I share a few thoughts on the device itself. Also I play some evps that I recorded from a ghost box session recorded on 12th January 2010.

Are these the voices of ghosts, spirits or any other astral entities, possibly alien beings? Are these voices of paranormal origin or are we simply hearing the correct answers to our questions time and time again from an ever changing radio frequency sweeper that is only capable of playing the tiniest of audio segments?

Its my personal belief that co incidence can only go so far and that some of these ethereal voices show a sign of intelligence. I would recommend the ghost box itself to all ghost hunters to try as I feel its one of those things that has to be personally tested as short youtube videos very often dont do it justice.

Phantom EVP Ghost Box Voices

Thursday, December 10th, 2009

J.D. Farrell

The EVP recordings in this video were recorded from a session on 9th December 2009 using the ghost box method of spirit communication sweeping the FM band. Myself and Denise were asking who the spirits / ghosts would prefer talking to and we got mixed replies, but in this clip there is an ethereal voice that mentions the word phantom. Was this voice of a ghost caught on tape letting me know who is trying to communicate and evidence of the paranormal?

J.D. Farrell Demonstrates a Simple Improvement on a Ghost Box

Note from Lightspirit13: This is the same Shack Hack model I use. I am happy to see such a simple improvement that even I can make. I will be trying this in the next couple of days. I will continue to follow J.D. Farrell’s work.

J.D. Farrell Demonstrates Use of Ghost Box

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

“The ghost box EVP recordings in this video were captured on 17th and 19th November 2009. In these sessions, I used some control questions to see if I could get some precise responses. Some of the results and EVP voices are unbelievable!!! The spirit that communicates with me called Martin is heard a lot on this short video, he always seems to come through very clear

EVP or electronic voice phenomena as it is known is thought to be voices of those passed away trying to communicate with us captured on electronic devices. When trying to capture EVP, you can sit and ask questions or leave an audio recording device in a quiet room. When you play these recordings back, sometimes you will hear voices that were not present at the time, answering your questions or talking in general. This area of paranormal research was popularized when the film White Noise was released in 2005 starring Michael Keaton. The most popular method of capturing EVP is by using ordinary tape or digital audio dictaphone’s or recording devices.”

Must Hear EVPs from the Constantinos

Tuesday, November 17th, 2009

Thursday, November 19th

Beyond the human ear..

The EVP you will hear in this clip, was taken from the RPM Paranormal Broadcast just 2 Tuesdays ago, we experienced technical difficulties, and could not play the other EVPs sent to us by the Constantinos upon that broadcast..since that time, we have been in contact with Gian Temperilli, (Gian’s Myspace: http://www.myspace.co… ) which most of you will rememeber from “The Temperilli Hauntings” airing upon this channel ‘Haunted House’..and as the Constantino’s took a personal intrest in Gian’s family experiences, it was our good fortune to be honored with them as our guest.

Now as they once again bless us with another show, we will complete not only the EVP’s we didn’t play upon that fateful Tuesday, but further share even more of them right here, upon the Radio Rod Channel ( http://www.blogstar.c… ) this upcoming Thursday night at 5:40pm upon the BlogStar clock.. (Thats Pacific Time).. :-)

I’m looking forward to the show, the interviews and the evps..but frankly, Radio Rod has to admit, he isn’t a big fan of dolls, at least the kind that talk, without the use of a string.. LOL..

Until that time.. Keep Searching/Keep Finding.. Keep Sharing.

Ghost Box EVPs – Voices From Beyond

Sunday, November 8th, 2009

J.D. Farrell, Paranormal researcher from the U.K. gives us another example of what can be accomplished by speaking through the “Shack Hack” or the “Ghost Box.”

There are some who say that you are more likely to pick up on lower entities through this means. Others say that although entities can respond to telepathic questions, it is best to speak them as a way of protecting oneself. Then comes the final caveat, as with any device you never know to whom you are really speaking, though most sensitives can discern the difference in energies among differnt types of entities.

We are all learning together in this field.

Paranormal Activity at Fort Mifflin during Ghost Hunters’ Investigation

Monday, June 29th, 2009
Ghost Hunters crew investigates Philadelphia's Fort Mifflin on June 26th and June 27th, 2009.

Fans ask the Ghost Hunters crew questions prior to heading out on investigation of Fort Mifflin.

On June 26, 2009, I had the privilege of attending the Fort Mifflin investigation with the cast of Ghost Hunters, along with John Zaffis and Gavin Cromwell.

I did not feel that the activity was as heavy as it was at Waverly Hills but did have several interesting experiences. My main ghost hunting tool was my Shack Hack.

The Shack Hack is an AM/FM radio, set on the AM frequencies, with a scanner, which has been “hacked” so that it keeps jumping across the AM stations. It allows a ghost or spirit to choose among frequencies to form its words in response to the ghost hunter’s questions. The questions can be spoken aloud or telepathically. I used mine with headphones so as not to disturb other investigators. They can also be used with speakers so that a group can hear the answers.

We were divided up into groups. I started in the tunnel where William Howell was imprisoned. I did not sense much activity in the tunnels, nor was there much activity on the K-II meter that Jason Hawes placed among us. Several of the group asked questions to evoke a response. No responses came on the K-II meters or the shack Hack, while I was present.

I left the group early and wandered over to the outdoor cannons where I thought I saw shadows. I asked if anyone was present and got a response, “Two.” I asked why they stayed here. The response came, “To aim at the enemy.” I could get no further conversation, as they seemed intent on their duties or they disappeared.

The soldiers’ barracks was quiet, even though I sat in the same spot where Tango said his father saw a shadowy figure. I joined a group in the Officer’s quarters, where they attempted to converse with someone named Elizabeth. I am unaware as to whether the group got any EVP responses to their questions but when they asked whether she was afraid of them, I heard a distinct, “Yes” through my Shack Hack headphones, in a very timid female voice.

My best experience was at the stable. There, John Zaffis met our group outside the entrance and said that each group had made contact with a spirit named Mark. He said that he had a Shack Hack set up for the group and that some women should be close to the speakers as he seemed to prefer women. I asked John if we knew the timeframe of Mark’s life and John said that he thought spirits got confused at times, when asked to name dates.

I grabbed the bench right next to the speakers. John started off the session by calling out to Mark and asking if he was still there. He was. John then encouraged the group to ask questions.

I asked Mark what his job was at the Fort. His answer, “Kitchen.” As the group called out questions, we learned that Mark had several sons and daughters, one son who occasionally worked there. John said that the information regarding the number of children was consistent across groups. He told us their names. Myra was the mother of his children.

John said our group was learning the most about Mark. Mark was black and had been a slave. Myra was sold away from the family.  He was happy to learn that slavery ended but did not seem to care as much that we now had a black president. Someone asked if he knew George Washington. His response showed surprise and was a bit sarcastic, “Who me?” John said at times Mark had an attitude with the other groups. Mark did NOT like the British.

I asked him if he was treated fairly at the Fort. He was. I asked him if he wanted to stay there. He was waiting for the return of Myra and did not want to go anywhere. He did not reply to being told that she was dead. Someone thought that another spirit came in and tried to talk to, or about, a “Webster.” Mark came in with a “Jealous.” He admitted to being jealous of us wanting to talk to anyone else. He admitted to being lonely.

I asked if there was anything that we could do for him. The answer was “No.” He believed in God and heaven. I asked him how he saw us, “As lights.” At this point there was a lot of static and it was also time to end the session.

I felt a kinship with Mark, who was lonely as he waited for his wife of so long ago. There was nothing that he wanted, he said he was not unhappy. I thanked Mark in my heart for talking to us and I pray he finds peace.

Waverly Hills Ghosts from a Psychic Medium’s Perspective

Saturday, June 20th, 2009

My name is Lynne and as a professional medium it is a dull and quiet day when I don’t see or talk to any ghosts whatsoever.

Recently I attended a paranormal conference and ghost hunt put on by darknessradio.com in Waverly, Kentucky.  Waverly was a tuberculosis (TB) hospital that opened in 1901 and didn’t close its doors until the late 1970’s. Sadly not much was known about TB in 1901 except that it was highly contagious. That is why TB patients were sent to TB sanatoriums, to keep them from infecting others.  Sulfa drugs were not developed until the 1940’s and modern antibiotics were not available until the 1950’s which meant the first half-century of Waverly Sanatorium’s existence saw a mind-boggling death rate.

Waverly had a “death tunnel” a long, steep concrete tunnel that allowed orderlies to transport corpses down to a train track behind the hospital. This kept the living TB patients from seeing a steady stream of dead patients from leaving. Once at the trains the bodies were shipped back home for burial.

Half the tunnel was a concrete ramp. Half was shallow steps that would allow an orderly to guide a gurney with a body on it down the ramp to the trains. The hour I spent in the Waverly death tunnel was full of the sound of endless gurney wheels clicking on the cement ramp.

Waverly has a rumor that some bodies were simply buried out back near the train tracks with no markers. I happened to be at the bottom of the death tunnel when I first heard that. Sure enough nine children immediately showed up. They were all dressed in white linen hospital shifts, more substantial than modern hospital gowns. A little boy, about age nine with shaggy black hair stood a bit in front of the group. These children just wanted me to know they were present. It was pitch black, muddy and we had no tools, let alone permission to go poking around for unmarked graves. If anyone ever wants to take an authorized look they are buried to the right at the end of the death tunnel. (Waverly is privately owned, so permission is mandatory!)

The autopsy room was intense. First time I walked in I had a dim sense of densely packed ranks of ghosts. The one who stood out the most was the ghost of a frightened young woman named Violet. She was alive when she was first put on the autopsy table. Chris Fleming was leading that particular hour attempting to get EVP’s. Violet said the word “scared” on EVP which confirmed my impression she was terrified. I asked her if she had been abused in the hospital. The word that came back on the EVP was “pregnant”. She couldn’t have been far along because I did not see a pregnancy bulge. I asked her if her family had sent her to the TB hospital as punishment for getting pregnant. Then came the clearest EVP of all, “I am prepared to die.” It was amazing to have my psychic impressions validated by the EVP work Chris was doing.

Have any other board members seen GhostHunters or Paranormal State’s shows on Waverly? Has anyone on the board visited Waverly? If so, do tell. It is a fascinating place.  Blessings.
