One Response to “The Frank’s Box – Fact or Fiction?”
Essentially the Frank’s Box is a sort of extra complicated Shack Hack scannng both AM or FM frequencies with enough complexity and speed to plausibly rule out coincidental snippets of radio station content that can be construed as real time ghost responses to investigators questions.
I would like to know more about the sound program the laptop uses before a real time EVP is heard by the box operator. Depending on how the sound program is set up I am wondering what we might be missing as it is all processed before an operator hears the real time responses.
Both of the EVP’s shared in this set of clips sound robotic and mechanical. All intonations of the spoken word are lost in the sound program changes and enchancements. This is a true loss of information. Consider how challenging some people have found instant messaging or emails without having the tonal cues of the spoken word available over the phone or face-to-face. Even emoticons have not managed to bridge the gap.
I do like the idea of three different scanning radios working at once. Any results strongly suggest intelligent, intentional ghostly attempts to communicate. Add enough variables and the human impulse tward creating order out of chaos surfaces even from the other side. Interesting thought.
